Natural Cranberry Sauce Recipe for Turkey
All time favorite cranberry sauce recipe. I love the flavors – definitely try it out.
Not too sweet and slightly tangy.
RECIPE (makes ~2 cups):
- 340g fresh cranberries, washed
- 1/3 cup freshly squeezed orange juice, with pulp
- 60mL or 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 3 tbsp pure maple syrup
METHOD:
- Place cranberries into a medium sauce pan.
- Add orange juice and 60mL maple syrup
- Bring to a boil.
- Boil for about 3 – 4 mins. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
- Once the sauce thickens up, use a fork to mash the softened cranberries.
- And when its done, mix in 3 tbsp of maple syrup.
- Ready to serve with turkey!
